The cleanest air in the world and regular snowfalls during the winter harvest season provide the perfect growing conditions for Tasmanian Black Truffles, preferred by chefs across the globe.
World-class Tasmanian Black Truffles, from the foothills of The Great Western Tiers.
Truffles of Tasmania
At the foothills of the Great Western Tiers, Truffles of Tasmania own and operate a 50 hectare truffle farm. We enjoy some of the cleanest air in the world year round and have snow falls during the winter harvest period. These cold conditions are optimal for producing decedent Black Truffles.
Our English and Spanish Oak Trees range between 15 - 22 years old. Our team of well trained dogs and truffle hunters work passionately to harvest our Truffles from June to mid September. We are proud to process all Truffles on site at our export standard grading and packing facility.
